You can also purchase the neoprene insulation jacket also available. This will reduce your heat loss by about 200-300 watts.

The 35 liter size is the total capacity of this boiler full to the brim, so if you are using this as a beer boiler you would probably only fill it up to 25-30L so you would have the desired 5-10 litres of head space to boil comfortably.
