Standard s-bend fermenter airlock. Used to exclude external dust, fruit flies and other unwanted yeasts etc from the fermenter vessel, but allow CO2 to vent from the fermenter.

Fill to the middle line with boiled water, or a small amount of non-toxic no rinse sanitiser.
