Brewers Hydrometer, used to give readings of sugar levels in your wort usually a starting gravity (SG) and a final or finishing gravity (FG). Knowing these two readings will allow you to know when your brew is finished fermenting, and allow you to calculate the alcohol content of your beer or wine.
